The Biofertilsier Certification Scheme (BCS) has appointed a new certification body in NSF Certification. Acoura (previously SFQC), notified Renewable Energy Assurance Limited (REAL) in June that they would need to withdraw from the scheme. In order to ensure that AD operators seeking certification would have a choice, REAL have appointed NSF Certification to become a certification body.
NSF's appointment will take effect from the 1 September 2015 but any AD operator considering certification will be able to approach them before then.
