REAL have opened a tender for organisations to offer their services as Certification Bodies under the Biofertiliser Certification Scheme (BCS).
It has been six years since REAL launched the BCS and initially tendered for Certifying Bodies. Due to the small growth in the scheme up to 2013 it was agreed with stakeholders that a tender wouldn't take place as scheduled. With significant growth in the scheme since 2014 it is now a good opportunity to offer the positions to those companies that which to provide those services.
The deadline for tender submissions is 5 December 2016 and the successful candidates should be notified by 20 January 2017. The contracts run for a period of 3 years for the successful contractors.
