Certification body under the Biofertiliser Certification Scheme

NSF Certification is a division of NSF Safety & Quality Ltd. This is a subsidiary of NSF International, a not-for-profit, US-based but globally present organisation, established at the University of Michigan in 1944, whose primary purpose is to promote the safe production, manufacture and supply of food and water to consumers around the world. 

NSF Certification in the UK was established in 1985 and originally known as CMi, it is managed from an Oxfordshire base, and provides inspection, standards development, certification and consultancy across all agricultural and food supply chains. In delivering over 30,000 farm inspections per year in the livestock, arable and fresh produce industries as well as providing inspection services to the feed supply, meat processing, food manufacturing, haulage and composting sectors.

NSF Certification is an appointed certification body for REAL’s Biofertiliser Certification Scheme and Compost Certification Scheme.
