The Digestate & Compost in Agriculture project is a four year research project looking at the use of quality anaerobic digestate (biofertiliser) and compost in agriculture.
The project will gather data which will enable these materials to be used more efficiently by farmers, helping to control costs and improve production.
A strong programme of knowledge exchange is being developed to share the information gathered. The project is now half way through and WRAP have published a series of bulletins to report on the progress so far. You can access more information and download the bulletins form the WRAP website here
These bulletins may be of particular use when marketing the benefits of using quality digestates.
