Anaerobic Digestate Resource Framework
The Anaerobic Digestate Resource Framework (ADRF) sets out the end-of-waste criteria for the production, storage, and use of quality outputs from anaerobic digestion of source-segregated biodegradable waste in England.
Operators producing digestate for use in England as a ‘product’ must comply with the ADRF to ensure their material meets the required standards for safe and sustainable use.

Anaerobic Digestate Quality Protocol
The Anaerobic Digestate Quality Protocol (ADQP) sets out the end-of-waste criteria for the production and use of quality outputs from anaerobic digestion of source-segregated biodegradable waste.
Operators producing digestate for use in Northern Ireland as a ‘product’ must demonstrate compliance with the ADQP.
