Upcoming event: Innovation in Digestate

Innovation in Digestate: best strategies to maximise value & manage environmental impact.

The event, which is organised by the Renewable Energy Association (REA) and supported by the REAL Market Development Working Group, has been scheduled for Thursday 03 October 2019.

The event will discuss the challenges the anaerobic digestion and farming sectors are currently facing and the digestate management challenges the sectors are likely to face in the future. The event will explore the most effective way(s) to address these challenges.

Key areas of conversation will include, but are not limited to:

• EU and UK policy regulations affecting digestate storage, use markets and applications
• Innovations, solutions and strategies on ammonia control, liquid reduction, contaminant removal and odour management
• Details and economics of digestate processing techniques
• Adding value to digestate and new emerging markets
